The SAOAS Group actively participates in the development of Moroccan agriculture by introducing, on the pesticide market, new innovative and effective alternatives to crop protection programs.

The Group has always opted for awareness days for farmers and professionals in the sector, in order to establish and strengthen management, advice, quality and innovation; pledge of trust between the SAOAS Group and its customers.

Thus, the SAOAS Group organized in collaboration with its international partner AAKO, on March 22th, 2017 in Skhirate, a technical day on Mildew and Oidium of the vine, and the theme was " What technical conduct to use for vines productivity and quality?".

This event began by the welcome speech by the commercial director Mr Fayçal Elhoussaini, to the 150 farmers operating in the field of the vine production in the region, but also to the the Chief Executive Officer Mr Mohamed Elouafi and the Marketing Director Mr Ibrahim Elouafi who were all present.

Later the expert commissioned by the group, Professor Mr Achbani, first evoked a brief overview of the vineyard in Morocco (surface, producing areas, varieties and local specificities ...) before further treatment of pests and diseases affecting the vineyard in Morocco. All the experts, including Mr. Thierry Trupin from Aako, then spoke to discuss the devastating diseases of powdery mildew, highlighting their specificities on the kingdom level (symptoms, stages of appearance, proliferation conditions, etc.) as well as the various strategies to get rid of these diseases, considering national specificities.

This meeting was closed with a broad debate, led by Mr Fayçal Elhoussaini, to discuss further conventional and alternative phytosanitary solutions that could be used. Focusing on the preventive aspect concerning the conditions and giving advice to have a healthy vineyard.
