National Larache Red Berry Festival

Sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, the Regional Office for Agricultural Development of Loukkos organized the first edition of the National Festival of Small Red Berries, in partnership with the Moroccan Association of Strawberry Producers (AMPFR) and the Moroccan Association of Packers Exporters of Strawberry (AMCEF) from 16th to 19th March 2017 in Larache .

This festival is placed under the theme "Valuing small red berries under the Green Morocco Plan the agricultural development lever. "

Organizing this Festival is part of the implementation the Green Morocco Plan objectives for the development of high value-added agricultural sectors, in this case of the small red berries sector, which occupies no less than 4000 ha in Loukkos representing 80% of the national production.

In this instance, the SAOAS Group presented its wide range of products to meet the various problems encountered by the red fruit sector of the Loukkos area. The SAOAS group has also developed over time, and following the changing needs of the pesticide market, a range of certified organic products (zero residue culture) compatible, in most cases, with IPM programs involving biocontrol organisms, bees and pollinating drones. It’s an area where the SAOAS Group is a precursor and innovator at Kingdom level.
